Constructed with a patented ethylene EPDM compound, this belt resists cracking and handles extreme temperatures, while its composite, multi-purpose construction makes it resistant to oil, heat, contaminants, tensile and flexing forces, fatigue, and shock loads. The proprietary EPDM material is engineered to combat self-igniting, ensuring your operations continue even with severe slippage.

The Gates AX53 is a Tri-Power Molded Notch V-Belt in the AX section, designed for heavy-duty, high-horsepower applications. It features molded notches for reduced bending stress and heat dissipation. The belt is constructed from HNBR rubber with aramid-reinforced nylon tensile cords, offering heat and oil resistance. It meets ARPM/RMA IP-3-2 oil and heat resistance standards and ARPM/RMA IP-3-3 static conductivity requirements. The belt has an outside circumference and pitch length of 55 inches, a top width of 0.5 inches, and a weight of 0.36 lbs. The temperature range is -70°F to +250°F (-57°C to +121°C).
