Technical Details

The Gates C228 is a classical section V-belt with a C section. It features a 7/8 inch top width and an outside circumference of 228 inches. Constructed with Gates Proprietary Compound, it is oil and heat resistant, as well as resistant to ozone, sunlight, weather, and aging. The belt utilizes Flex-Bonded Cords for equal load distribution and bending stress absorption, and a Flex-Weave cover for extended protection. It is suitable for all industrial applications, including v-flat drives.
