Its Permanent Split Capacitor (PSC) design eliminates the need for a centrifugal switch, ensuring higher reliability and energy efficiency. Features a rolled steel frame with corrosion-resistant epoxy paint, a 3-inch long by 5/8-inch diameter keyed output shaft, and 3/4-inch long extended thru-bolts. It is overload protected with an automatic reset protector and must be mounted within the air stream of the driven fan, making it ideal for fan and blower applications but not suitable for belt-driven fans due to low starting torques.
