This Gates Truflex™ V-belt, part number 3L260 (84001260), is designed for fractional-horsepower (FHP) and light-duty drives. It features a 3L cross section, a wrapped construction and 1 strand. The belt has an outside circumference of 26 inches; in the 3L numbering, "260" is the outside circumference in inches with an added zero. The top width is 3/8 inch and the thickness is 7/32 inch. Its thin profile suits small-diameter sheaves and backside idlers. The construction uses Flex-Bonded tensile cords bonded to the belt body for equal load distribution, and a Flex-Weave™ oil- and heat-resistant cover that protects the belt core. The belt meets ARPM/RMA IP-3-2 oil and heat resistance and IP-3-3 static conductivity standards, and its operating temperature range is -22°F to +140°F (-30°C to +60°C). Typical uses include FHP motors, pumps, power tools and appliances.
