The Marathon C1160 is a 1.5 HP, single-phase electric motor operating at 1725 RPM. It features a 56H NEMA frame with a resilient base mounting and an Open Drip Proof (ODP) enclosure. The motor is designed for dual voltage operation (115/208-230V) at 60Hz, with a current draw of 16.4A at 115V and 8.4-8.2A at 208-230V. It has an efficiency of 77% and an insulation class of B. The motor is equipped with automatic overload protection and ball bearings on both drive and opposite drive ends. The frame is constructed from rolled steel.
