The Fasco D128 is a versatile 3-speed, 1500 RPM general purpose motor designed for light-duty air-moving applications. Its shaded-pole, open-air-over design eliminates the need for a start capacitor, relying on the fan's own airflow for cooling. With thermally protected windings, the motor automatically shuts off if it overheats and resets when cool, ensuring safe operation. The sleeve bearings are rated for 40°C ambient, providing quiet performance ideal for bathroom exhaust fans or refrigerated cases. Featuring a compact 3.3-inch frame and double shafts with 4-inch extensions from each end, this motor offers flexible installation options, including stud-mount (2.85" bolt circle) or belly-band mounting, making it a convenient drop-in replacement for various small fan housings. Easily select high, medium, or low airflow by wiring the designated color leads: Black for High, Blue for Medium, and Red for Low.
