The Gates B240 Hi-Power II V-Belt is a classical, non-cogged belt with a B/5L section. It measures 241 inches in outside circumference and pitch length, with a top width of 0.66 inches and a belt depth of 0.4375 inches. Constructed with vulcanized flex-bonded tensile cords and a Flex Weave oil and heat-resistant cover, it meets ARPM/RMA IP-3-2 (oil and heat resistance) and ARPM/RMA IP-3-3 (static conductivity) standards. The belt material is EPDM, designed to resist self-ignition. It operates within a temperature range of -22°F to +140°F (-30°C to +60°C).
