Gates B89 Hi-Power II V-Belt

The Gates B89 Hi-Power II V-Belt is a heavy-duty, classical V-belt designed for a wide range of industrial and agricultural power transmission applications. Featuring a Flex-Weave Cover for enhanced durability against oil, dirt, and heat, and Flex-Bonded Cords for uniform load distribution and stress absorption, this belt ensures increased longevity and reliable performance. Its optimized cross-section with Gates Curves provides proper cord support and full contact with the sheave-groove for uniform loading and wear. Suitable for use individually or in multi-belt drives for higher horsepower needs, it meets RMA oil and heat resistant standards, as well as RMA static conductivity requirements.

Technical Details

The Gates B89 Hi-Power II V-Belt is a B-section classical V-belt with an outside circumference of 92 inches and a pitch length of 92 inches. It has a top belt width of 21/32 inches and a nominal thickness of 13/32 inches. Constructed with a Flex-Weave oil and heat-resistant cover and Flex-Bonded polyester tensile cords, it operates effectively within a temperature range of -58°F to +248°F (-50°C to +120°C). The belt meets ARPM/RMA IP-3-2 (oil and heat resistance) and ARPM/RMA IP-3-3 (static conductivity) standards. It is designed for single-strand use and is made with a general-purpose diene core material.
